Granny's getting a new dress . Work in progress

Ok, I'm trying to get myself out of this funk I'm in so I decided to work on some granny chairs that I got for a steal off CL. Don't let her fool ya with the colour you see here because she is really more golden.   Here is the lady in question with her good bones and beautiful tufts.

This is what I used on her.  I know you're supposed to rinse until the water runs clear but I have a hard time doing what I'm supposed to do.  But not to worry, when warmer weather gets here I may take them outside and give them a good bath if I have problems with the dye coming off.  I'll get back to you on that.

Here she is almost finished.  I have to get more dye and nail heads but this is what she looks like after her first fitting (coat)

Here are the two together.  I really should have done this sooner.  Do you realize how long I've let them sit in shame lol.

I'm loving it so far and can hardly wait to get the rest of the stuff to finish them.  So, this is granny's new almost finished dress.  I can't decide what to do about those legs, though.  What do you think? should I paint them? sand and leave them natural?  I would love to hear what you suggest.

Thank you for stopping by:)
